Zephyr Lodge at Northstar California ski resort is nestled on the top of the mountain at 8610 feet. The Northstar is located between North Lake Tahoe and Truckee California in the pine trees above Martis Valley. The Zephyr Lodge is located right on top of one of the ridges of the mountain top and has amazing views of the valley and the rest of the Sierra mountains north of Tahoe and Truckee. It’s an adventure just to get to the mountain top lodge. You’ll have to take two gondola rides up from the base of Northstar Village to the top of the mountain.
