South Lake Tahoe wedding first look photos captured by Doug Miranda Photography of a couple seeing each other for the first time on their special day. This couple wanted to enjoy their cocktail hour and reception with their guest, so the opted to do a first look before their ceremony. This way only a small amount of family photos had to be take after the ceremony. In turn they were able to spend almost all of cocktail hour with their friends and family members. Here in this picture the groom started to cry as he turned around and saw his future wife for the first time on the wedding day. When you're able to capture images like this one during a first look it was all worth it and meaningful. There are pros and cons with first looks, so I let my couples decide on what they want to do on their special day. As a photographer you have to remember it's not about you and that it's pointing your couples in the right direction.
