The ceremony site at Northstar ski resort is one of the most stunning sites in all of the great Tahoe basin. This event center is one location that you should for sure put on your list to take a site visit of.
Zephyr Lodge at Northstar California ski resort is nestled on the top of the mountain at 8610 feet. The Northstar is located between North Lake Tahoe and Truckee California in the pine trees above Martis Valley. The Zephyr Lodge is located right on top of one of the ridges of the mountain top and has amazing views of the valley and the rest of the Sierra mountains north of Tahoe and Truckee. It’s an adventure just to get to the mountain top lodge. You’ll have to take two gondola rides up from the base of Northstar Village to the top of the mountain. You’ll be treated with stunning views of the mountain and surrounding area on your way up.
Once you get to the top of the mountain it’s a short walk down the path to the lodge and ceremony site. The ceremony site is located right next to the lodge and is only steps away from the entrance. Your ceremony will take place right on the edge of the ridge which will give you and your guest unobstructed views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range while you exchange your vows. There is no other ceremony site like this in all of the Tahoe region. Durning certain times of the summer you’ll be treated to a wild flower bloom that takes over the whole hill side behind the ceremony location and next to the lodge. This is truly something so beautiful that you have to see for yourself with your own eyes. Couples that are lucky enough to get married during this time of year will have some extra special wedding photos with the wild flowers in it.
