Zephyr Lodge wedding groom photography of at the Northstar Resort located in Truckee California a top of a high Sierra peak near North Lake Tahoe. This picture was taken just as the groom and his groomsmen arrived at the top of the mountain and walked over to the lodge. There where grabbing a glass of water before heading out to have their groomsmen photos taken before the start of the ceremony.
Once you get to the top of the mountain it’s a short walk down the path to the lodge and ceremony site. The ceremony site is located right next to the lodge and is only steps away from the entrance. Your ceremony will take place right on the edge of the ridge which will give you and your guest unobstructed views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range while you exchange your vows. There is no other ceremony site like this in all of the Tahoe region. Durning certain times of the summer you’ll be treated to a wild flower bloom that takes over the whole hill side behind the ceremony location and next to the lodge. This is truly something so beautiful that you have to see for yourself with your own eyes. Couples that are lucky enough to get married during this time of year will have some extra special wedding photos with the wild flowers in it.
